River Avon- first dusk of spring

It's very hard to capture how perfect the dusk was this evening. The air was still and cool. While zenith was deep and clear, there was a slight haze that grew over the town (tropically obscuring the surrounding hills) into wispy cloud on the horizon that caught a golden sunset. Widcombe hill- at once steep and high- makes you look up instead of down at Bath in the valley below, while keeping the horizon out to Bristol at eye level. This effect, set with a deep sunset, Robins, Great tits, more distant Doves and Blackbirds- made for a glorious first evening of Spring.
