Broughty Ferry Bump

There's been a lot of hints of spring recently, but today really did feel like it. A glorious day after a cloudy start, warm,the birds singing their hearts out. We had a pair of goldfinches dancing in a bush next door, while one of the male blackbirds was claiming his territory - our window sill! We're definitely having a spring baby - two weeks tomorrow due date....

After work we had a lovely walk and Jem had an icecream (too cold for me still even in the teens!) at Broughty Ferry - just after this shot was taken I spotted a razorbill fishing in the old harbour! Then fish and chips sat by the river at Kingoodie, with the wonderful sounds of the waders on the mudflats - and lots of teals. An excellent afternoon - required to set me up for marking for the rest of the evening!
