World book day

So today was world book day which meant that the children could go to school dressed as a character from a story.

Joe and I have been planning this for weeks... Except I thought it was tomorrow so sent him to school as normal. So he went to school upset and I felt like a useless mother.

Luckily the school had spare costumes so he got to dress up as a pirate which he loved and to say sorry to him I brought him two new books.
