Sunset over the Mersey

Tonight I left work on time to make sure I got down to the river in time to catch the sun setting. There were a few people about, taking advantage of the nice evening to go and see HMS Liverpool on a final trip before she is decommissioned.

The rather oddly shaped building to the right of this picture is the cooling tunnel on the Wirral side of the Mersey and Birkenhead docks are visible on the left with the cranes.
