Last day

Today's the last day the poor dog is allowed on this part of the beach. It's closed to dogs from 1 March to 30 September. Goodness knows why it's so early. Why not from Easter or May? In the morning there will only be a few fishermen, joggers and some dog walkers breaking the by-laws. Some days the weather will be foul and no one will be on the beach.
