Brian the snail

While at the toy dept in Fenwick's today we saw some of the staff from The Centre for Life trying to drum up a bit of business. They brought along some giant snails and some experiments for the kids to try out. This was a baby giant snail which the kids were keen to hold - not me though.

Anyway if you're ever in Newcastle with kids a trip to the Centre for Life is a brilliant day out. They change the projects all the time and there are loads of workshops to attend. We thoroughly enjoyed it when we went and will be planning another trip soon.
