Another day, another sunrise....

But where is Archie?

He's gone.
No, not roaming again, it's all OK.

With our busy lives, work commitments, and possible future travel plans it was never a good idea to have Archie. Common sense has at last prevailed, and he has gone to a neighbour who lost his own dog nearly 2 years ago. Yes, the neighbour involved in his rescue the other day. He has had boxers for years and when he saw Archie for the first time he knew he wanted another dog again. So Archie (and the neighbour) will be in boxer heaven, spoilt rotten no doubt. We will miss him in many ways, his adorable personality, expressive face, the way he quizzically cocks his head to one side when he watches what you are doing, and the way he "talks" to you when he's excited. Despite my not wanting a dog in the first place, I did really get very fond of him.

But it'll work out well for everyone, the best of both worlds. Archie will live just along the track a little, and when J needs a dog sitter occasionally we'll be happy to have him. And best of all we know he has gone to a good home where he will be very much loved and cared for. Good on you Arch, but I'll miss you.
