Show time

Our show time starts when we are born.
When we grow up we decide (or more often someone else decides for us) which part we are going to play.
When we are adults, we like thinking we don't play any part and we are what we want to be.
One of my favourite dramatists is Pirandello, who firmly believes that we can struggle against our forms, but we actually are unable to leave and must play their parts.
