Poor little bird - ball

It looked very cute with it's little head cover under his wings, but I think it was sick. It did not move at all when I came close. When I came home today there was the second dead bird on my bird-feeder. First I was worried it is the food in my feeder, but my neighbor said that there is a disease and she had found a few dead one. Very odd and sad.
