Woodchat Shrike

Really enjoyed out outing this early am with Brendan Kavanagh and Howard King - the birds guys of Bahrain. Who would have thought there were so many species around here, you've obviously just got to know where to find them. They have pointed out a few good spots so will investigate further. Hope to join them as often as possible in the future though - there knowledge about the local birds is amazing. Howard has lived here for nearly 30 years so has an enormous amount of info to impart on others. For more pics look here.
