Come as a Book Day

For World Book Day Miss E and Miss L got to dress up to go to school. It's been on the calendar for weeks and I had lots of plans to make wonderful costumes... In my dreams!!!
Miss E has been insisting on going as Incey Wincey Spider and I've been wracking my brains about how to make a spider costume: tights and cotton wool according to Miss E!!
I've been playing Jedi mind games for the last few days to plant the idea of Joe the Pirate into her head - because as luck would have it, Father Christmas brought her a rather fabulous Pirate costume and it was one of her favourite books last year. Success!!! She came into our room this morning at 7am begging to get dressed up as a pirate and go straight to school. Yay!!
Miss L doesn't really have any idea about what's going on so was happy to dress up in her lovely fairy dress.
There were two Buzz Lightyears in Miss E's class. Honestly, these parents that just grab whatever's to hand at the last minute....
