Two out, two to go.

The second flower has opened and they are quite spectacular blooms. The other two flowers are bursting from their buds and I should have all 4 in a couple of days or so.
Went to the hairdressers this morning, all very relaxing down there and a cup of coffee helps things along. Decided to Blip early as I need to spend the afternoon baking quiche for tomorrow night's village hall function. I wanted to show off my amaryllis today anyway.

PS. I really enjoyed the RSC performance of 'The Shrew' last night. From comments I overheard I don't think everyone approved. It was very bawdy but done very cleverly I thought with some highly imaginative staging. Casting and individual performances were good too, not always the case even when it is RSC!
