Derby Cafe

A friend had her second replacement hip operation a few weeks ago. It is taking her a bit longer this time to recover, so we decided that a nice lunch would cheer her up a bit. So we headed to her area, to the Derby which is well known and much loved. Old fashioned, comfortable, comfort food, just what she (and we) needed, and we had a good old natter.

Sent her home feeling a bit brighter, we think.

A nice spring type day today, not cold at all. Methinks we might have seen the last of winter, but I could be proved wrong.
