Well, so much for Spring! After a foggy start, it's been a grey day that left me lacking in inspiration...

On a positive note, I've had a good 'family history' day. I'm planning a visit to the ancestor's stamping grounds, so I've been checking addresses and church names. I've discovered that hubby's great, great grandparents didn't have 13 children after all - they had 14!

Edit: we're back to 13 children - it appears that they forgot what they'd called one of their children, as I've proved that the one who was registered as Edward Samuel and the one who was baptised privately as Charles Edward were definitely one and the same!
