Darter at ease
I met this bright little guy in the nature reserve at lunchtime. As I took the photo, he looked as though he was looking at me, nodding hid head and twisting his eyes this way and that way. Quite a sweet insect!
My colleagues and I had a nosey around this building, called King's Place, which is a new development in King's Cross and is right next door to where I work. It was a neighbours' evening with free food and drink to welcome people into the new building in the area. The ground floor and the one below it will be publlic areas, with a restaurant, bar and two concert halls. Floors one to four will house The Guardian newspaper staff and we met the folk on the fifth floor - they create Hush Puppies, Caterpillars and Merrill shoes, and we great fun to chat to. They moved in on Monday so are still finding their feet in King's Cross.
