Red Hot

This is the result of a physics experiment today. We heated up these penny's upto about 700 degree's and then rapidly cooled them in water. This caused some great colours to come out of the coins. These were probably caused by the coin burning off grease and grit on them. I'm quite pleased with this but I could probably of got some better pictures but I only had the chance to take it quickly in class on my phone.
