How come it's cold, foggy and dull and it's March, yet a few days ago when it was February it was shirtsleeve weather?

Anyway, to fit in with the dull day, I have a dull dusk time picture of a dull East coast pier.

But to lift it all out of the doldrums, it has been given a cinematic widescreen aspect. Having bored a little with the 1:1 format, this is now my new personal challenge - to spend the next few weeks exploring what things look like in this shape.
