How to catch a star

Just passing by

Our Lady and St Joseph's Catholic Church.

I pass this every day on my way to the 'old' hospital. I really like the old hospital and today's been a lovely day. Very quiet, one of the nicest doctor's around - she's a GP (same age as me) and does endoscopy on her days off. She bought us scones this morning - a great way to 'get the nurses on side!!!'.

Application in, found out today that one of my best work buddies has an interview for a job too. Really worried that if I don't get this job I'll be left on the sinking ship. More and more nurses are leaving and the budget is such, that they are being replaced by team assistants. And team assistants won't be on the on call rota ..... So what was 16 staff on the rota ie one night in 16 and one weekend in 16 is becoming more. 2 people don't have to do it for 'health reasons' (1 in 14). One has a new job (1 in 13) My buddy has an interview (1 in 12) - there's talk of the sisters not having to do it (1in 10).... you see the way this is going!!!!
