Looking Down the Barrel

Not a great day. This morning I had planned a quick trip to the canal to get a shot of the mist on the water. All I could see was fog.
Didn't manage to get out during the (very dull and overcast) day so I went into Winchester where the lack of light hampered taking pictures. Then I couldn't decide which one. The choice was one of the Hampshire Hog outside the council building or the face of the rider from the Horse and Rider.
In the end I asked Adam and he choose this one. The gun is in the Peninsular Barracks. I think he is right it does have an interesting shape and colours. So if you like it I will take the plaudits and if not it is Adam's fault. Sounds fair.
