I was in St Helen's today so decided to bid farewell to the Antony Gormley 'Field for the British Isles' sculptures.
There are stickers on the pavement directing you to the exhibition of the 40,000 little figures made by local people 15 years ago.
I asked my very charming client if she had seen the exhibition and was delighted when she told me that she was one of the child sculptors.
She had happy memories of making the figures, hers tended to be quite small,and meeting Antony Gormley.
