...Go buddy, go buddy.....

I took this shot today just because I wanted to. The weather has been so crap recently that I haven't been out with the camera for ages, so this evening I decided to shooot a sign of Spring.

Today has been a bloody pain in the arse. Set off for work knowing that we were still two teachers and a technician down in the Faculty, but hoping against hope that I would have a fairly restful day......after all I only had two lessons to teach and three "free" hours to complete my reports.

No bloody chance!

Arrived to be greeted witha note that informed me another of the Faculty had phoned in "sick"....and that my first "free" hour was up the Swanee with a cover lesson for an absent colleague.....and then realised that this meant that there were only two of us to do break duty today....two teachers....600 kids ....and an entire school to patrol. It also meant that the Science Faculty comprised me, P and J the techie and we had 17 lessons to run today!

So....I planned lessons for the new absentee...... did my cover....taught my own lesson....did duty...went for a fag and then settled to do my reports....and then the disturbances started...staff, kids, technician in and out of my lab like bloody yo-yo's...managed to do three reports.

20 minute lunch....quick fag..... and then taught my second lesson......then settled to the reports...and it started again....eventually ripped the head off a hapless visitor ......and locked my door....evntually managed to complete the reports with two minutes to spare before the system close.

And do you wnat to know the worst bit of the day? I offered to take hebs for a drink after work, because she's been a bit blue....and she turned me down in favour of coffee with the girls. So that's it.....turned down....me....I'm officially just an old fart now...can't even take a girl out for a beer.

I'm sulking and totally disgruntled...and hebs called me mardy!
