Culture of play

Had an early finish today to pick Lottie up from school. When I asked her what she wanted to do she said she wanted to go to the Hepworth Gallery so after a quick change off we went.

We did have a brief look inside at the sculptures and pictures, and spotted a heron across the river from the window. However I think the real appeal there is the wicked playground - and she had it all to herself.

While she played I went a bit mad with the camera - largely pictures of her but a few experiments too, of which this is one example. It's taken me ages tonight to decide which one to blip.

A lovely relaxing end to the week - hope my blips for the rest of the weekend are as easy to come by!
