The only picture I took today, a pine with babies :-)

The tornado season is here, and today we are getting our first beating. The sturdy hallway closet is emptied in case we need to hide. The whole tornado thing was a bit abstract to me until last year, when one of our alumni barely escaped death while her apartment building collapsed around her in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. I am very attentive now to all manners of weather alerts.
