Flower season

I have only just thrown out the flowers I received for Valentines
day to be replaced by these.

Going away with my sons and girlfriends for my birthday and
these are coming with me. I was going to pack a vase but they
all laughed at me and assured me there would be one at the
cottage we are going to.

When asked what I wanted for my birthday I replied something
yellow ( to match my new car Primrose) but from the conversation tonight
it has been harder than I expected.
