Friedenskirche, Bremen

Today's World Day of Prayer, an international ecumenical Christian laywomen's initiative, and I went to the service in Bremen's Friedenskirche ('Church of Peace'). The blip shows a detail of the protestant church's choir.

This year, the Day of Prayer's focus is on Malaysia and the theme is 'Let Justice Prevail'. It was a great evening. I met some friends from Bremen's Methodist Church and the ladies from the Bremen committee had prepared a lavish hot and cold buffet with Malaysian food. Delicious :-)

The food was served after the service in the parish house, a place I know well. They are screening all Werder Bremen matches there! Parson's can be amazing... ;-)
