Whew!

The weather bomb didn't explode over us last night - relief all round. But North Islanders didn't fare so well - they had a terrible night and there's quite a lot of damage. This really has been a bad summer.

The worst we had was a bit of rain, a few strong gusts and some unseasonally cool temperatures. Things had warmed up a bit by mid-late afternoon - when this wee bee got busy - but again this evening, I have the heater and the electric blanket on! I know I'm a bit of a sook when it comes to being cold but this really is unexpected and I'm just not ready for it!

Bed now for cosy, snuggly warmth :)
