More surf training

But not as in surfing. Although they love that also.

Twice a week they train with their surf life saving club. And these are rescue boards. Two handles at the front for the patient or whatever the official term is, and two at the back for the life saver to hang on to. The trick is to catch a wave back to the beach without finishing off the job for the one in trouble. They're getting pretty handy with those boards now.

Thanks to all the (council employed) lifeguards at Bondi Rescue for sparking the interest. And all the wonderfulvolunteers in red and yellow (who are the real heroes), for continuing it. But especially Rocky* and Emma** from our old club for pure, momentous inspiration :)
