I wonder where the birdies is.....

After a dearth of inspiration and opportunity during the working week, I was looking forward to tramping the countryside in search of The Picture.

In the end I couldn't resist Blipping this from outside the kitchen window.

Not entirely successful I know; my first go at a macro-ish shot and I'm not a great one for photographing flowers, but this screamed at me SPRING IS HERE!

Living in darkest Devon, it is a bit of an occupational hazard for an Engineer that there is too much time spent away. But as I turn off the A30 on a Friday I can feel the tension leave my shoulders and a peaceful, easy feeling (to quote the Eagles) setting in. I love it here.
