After a bit of a break

I have fallen into the ways of gluttony.

This may come as a bit of a shock to you blippers, but since we started having visitors and then came down with a (lurgie, lurgy) effin cold I have veered off the straight and narrow.

Since Christmas my wife and I have been dieting and successfully losing weight so this morning I had my Atkins breakfast of choice, a two egg omelet with goats cheese. We are both doing different diets as cathintheattic is a vegetarian and I am not. Honestly different diets has been a god send because I become a truculent teen when faced with a restricted food choice, and when that choice is further restricted by vegetarianism I become utterly unbearable.

Thankfully cathintheattic hasn't kicked me out yet so as far as I'm concerned Atkins is good. I know that I will have to swap to a realworld food choice some time in the future but for now I think it's time to get back on the path to a healthier life.

Maybe I should join my cousin and her friends the next time I am home in Ireland.
