Mr Woodpecker

This is one of the frequent visitors to our bird table. The bird table is very busy today which is usually a sign that the weather is going to take a turn for the worst. Another log on the fire and I'll be fine.

Here's your education bit, do you know how to tell the difference between a greater spotted woodpecker and a lesser spotted woodpecker. I find the easy way to tell them apart is that the greater spotted woodpecker wears red pants. Hee hee bet you won't forget that one.
