End of the line

My father-in-law is 89 and in a very poor way. I've seen him steadily decline over the last four years. Since my mother-in-law died in October of last year he's lived in a care home and this is his room. The staff in the home are very caring and I doubt that he could get better care yet his decline has accelerated and he cannot have long now.
