Art?

Back in the woods although the weather was not as nice as it has been.

I came across this design carved into the trunk of a tree. I had mixed feelings about it. The design itself looks nice and will continue to evolve as the tree grows which will be interesting but I still have to consider it vandalism. Which is a shame.
