Cramond Ferry

This is the cottage on the west side of the River Almond at the point where the ferry provides the crossing to take walkers from the eastern bank of the River Almond at Cramond across the river onto the Dalmeny estate.

Up early and down to the foreshore to support today's 5K Parkrun. I know, I'm supposed to be partaking and not just spectating, but my damaged achilles tendon has still not fully recovered. Lame excuse (ha ha) it sounds like, but it is so. Still, the early start gave me the rest of the day to get on with painting the new fence.
