Great Grandpa

This picture shows a moment where I was enjoying my grandfather enjoying my daughters.

The girls' great grandfather is one of our favourite people in the world.

We have a regular appointment on the first Saturday of every month. We arrive with fish and chips and weapons of mass destruction (aka Lyra and Ellie).

Despite the fact that they tear his house apart without fail, Grandpa, or BB as the girls call him for reasons best known to themselves, loves them dearly and takes huge pleasure from their visits.

The girls adore BB and we often end up making impromptu visits because given a choice of what to do visiting BB is often the girls' first choice. Thankfully, at 85, BB's life is not a social whirlwind and he can usually fit us in.
