Rainbow's Ends

A walk of contrasting conditions today, around Edale in the Peak District.

Started in fog, which persisted until late morning and caused us to abandon part of the route to Kinder Downfall. It would have been foolish to continue along that part of the route, in heavy fog, an indistict footpath and boggy conditions.

The fog cleared to be replaced by sunshine along with a few showers. The showers allowed this rainbow to form over the Edale valley, viewed from Rushup Edge.
