Underneath the starlight

I walked from home to the yard early this afternoon which was good fun and Inca enjoyed it, lying in every muddle puddle she could find! However, I didn't take my camera so decided I wanted to try my hand at some star trails.

This is nothing like the 10 hour ones professionals do in beautiful locations. This was parked in the layby outside Kirkley College so that I was a little more away from the light pollution. It's amazing to see how many more stars are visible away from street lamps and the likes! I definitely want to do more star photography, it's fascinating.
