This is why I used to cluck...

...when I saw a Blip of a ring which looked a tiny bit tight.
I asked the customer's permission to take a shot of this just after we'd cut his ring off.

That, plus seeing a lady's finger red raw and her unable to stand the pain of me cutting it off.
She went to hospital instead and had to suffer exactly the same. I hadn't the heart to tell her and we were spared the weeping, wailing etc.
