Work Day

Back to Tim and Sandra's today for a work party day, the task is to fence their vegetable garden and make it rabbit proof! This involved clearing all the long grass of the existing chicken wire fence, erecting the new fence and attaching the clean wire to it, the latter is the rabbit proof bit! It all went very smoothly and we just about finished before dark.
Tim and Sandra's house is their own design and build, very unique and very homely!
They grow much of their own food and rear sheep, chickens and pigs! Tim is a bee keeper and supplies much of the locality with honey, He has also written two books on bee keeping! Sandra works their two horses Whinnie and Henry on their small holding and other peoples, she also gives talks and demonstrations.
Fantastic supper followed, much appreciated after a hard days work!
