The Remains of the Pavlova
Attended a Farewell Ceilidh this evening, for friends who are moving to Dumfries-shire. We are really going to miss them. Their new garden has three ponds and a chicken run - so I immediately think of the Blip ops when visiting.
Lots of fun, chat and dancing, with a delicious display of pudding. By the time I got the camera out, there wasn't much left.
I had a discussion with some like minded ladies, who are just as keen on photography as me. One is a lapsed Blipper who may return. The main chat was about the price of the soon to be released Canon 5D mark iii. It seems that three of us had been eyeing up the possibility ... until yesterday! Anyway, we may well meet up soon to learn a few tricks on portrait shots, as one of the group has now set up her own portrait photography business.
