Lost In The Woods...

Today we went on a super rad hike. It was following this creek and it flows into a larger river that you continue to follow. We had to cross over the stream by hoping rocks, scaling super steep hill sides, and cross trees that were down over the stream. This is Max crossing over by shimmying this log. I was the first one to do it, and he thought it looked like fun so he went for it! Once he rolled and was in this position his phone fell out of his pants and into the river. The phone actually survived the swim and we continued on our hike.

Surprisingly the end of the hike led to a neighborhood that we walked through and put us on the main road. We proceeded to walk the main road and tried to hitch hike back to our car. No one was picking us up and then a guy we work with who works at the ski resort stopped and picked us up...

all in all...it was a good day!
