Die Harder

I first saw this as a blip by @maggiepye and was so intrigued I had to go and see it for myself.

Die Harder is a sculpture by David Mach made from coat hangers. It is the figure of christ in pain and anguish pierced by thousands of spears.
It is showing in The Southwark Cathedral until 6th April.

It is a brilliant piece of art and really stands out in its setting in the back of the cathedral. We happened to be there for evensong so decided to stay for the service and although I am not a very religious person I must say the choir singing was absolutely beautiful.
