A Writer's Life

Waiting for Godot, still

She had a good morning, slept like a log, waking only to tell me to get some food, or watch tv. Try staying awake when you are in a room with three patients who snore... I felt tempted to succumb, but, you know, I was there for a reason. The afternoon was a bit more rocky, because she felt so well in the morning that when they offered pain meds, she didn't take it all. And it was not good at all. But now, she is resting comfortably, and we are still hoping for a surgery tonight. I got to meet the surgeon today, so I know he does exist (said with the voice of the green M&M in the Christmas ad, but you can't judge, because I'm beat).

Wasn't in a blip mood, so the front of the hospital will have to do. It's actually pretty old.

And now, I'm going to bed.
