Remains of the (Birth)Day

It was a lovely day with my family. Got my auntie, did a couple of errands and then came home and met up with the men-folk. We had a light lunch and I opened my presents and we had a bit of cake. I got cash from hubs and auntie and son went together to get me a new Kitchen Aide small hand mixer and this really nice cookie sheet that I wanted and a silpat non-stick baking mat that fits that cookie sheet exactly. Nice additions to my kitchen supplies and I was pleased. Then we went to McMenamins on the Columbia and this is the view from the sidewalk by the river front area as the sun was setting. It is supposed to be a decent day tomorrow and Bill will be working outside, I'm sure. I may have to bake something! See what tomorrow brings, I guess.

Anyway, thanks for all the birthday wishes and I think my birthday is finally over with, two days after the fact.
