Caspian Tern

From just before sunrise I start gazing out my window at the goings on over the bay. There's been a very strong N/W wind the last two days and it always amazes me how the birds seem to like flying right into it, although when they turn the other way they just get swept away at a helluva speed (I suppose they know best). It's very difficult trying to capture them flying past, most of my pictures come out blurred. I loved the bright red beak of this tern though.

The good news is that the wind has blown the thick sand out of the air and we can now see the sun again. Had a wonderful sunrise this morning.
