Time for les "Bugnes" !
Today my Mum and I made the traditional "Bugnes", a regional pastry that we make around Mardi Gras every year. It's quite simple to make, but it can take quite some time, as you have to roll the dough, cut pieces one by one, and then put all of them in boiling oil. It can also be difficult to make them crispy enough. This year they were excellent, as opposed to last year's disaster!
