RAIN!!!

For those of you in the wetter parts of our blessed and green isle, rain may not be a cause for celebration. However, here in the far east we have had precious little rain for several months now so it is welcome change to see raindrops on the windows.

I've never been much of one for foreign travel. Yes there are places and sights that I would like to see but, as far as I'm concerned, the British Isles are incredibly beautiful and there is such diversity considering how small we are.

We all love to moan about the weather - it is a British trait. Unsurprising really when we get such variety given our geographical location. I could never live somewhere were the weather was predictable. Yes I get fed up when it is gloomy and grey and cold but it never lasts for THAT long really.

Without our weather we would noit have a green and pleasant land. So I'm celebrating the fact that it has rained today. Just as long as it's sunny again soon!!
