Fever Pitch

This is the book I'm reading at the moment. I'm not sure why, as someone who professes to support a football club (Hull City) I'm certainly nowhere near as obsessional as Nick Hornby is about Arsenal.

I bought this book second hand for Tom, who is a much more serious football fan (Aston Villa) than I am. He enjoyed reading it and when I was scrabbling around looking for something to read, he suggested it.

From an observer of people's point of view, I find it quite interesting, it doesn't have quite as much football in it as I feared, and the early part of the book is set in the 70's when I lived in London and used to watch Chelsea.

So as a stop gap in between reading my usual 'pulp fiction', it'll do.
