Cookie the sun seeker.....

Had quite a busy dayfor a Sunday... most of it was spent trying to catch the perfect blip!!... This obsession is getting out of hand I think.

Today was my friend Ewans' day for the launch of his 2nd CD, so we headed down to West Barns for that.. I had hoped to get a blip of some musicians in action but when I got there I was totally surprised to find the place completely packed full, so we had to stand at the bar... still being a bit self consious with a camera I just felt too out in the open to take any shots.
It was a 5hr event with other people playing as well but we didn't stay for the whole duration... mainly because I couldn't get a seat and once you've broken your legs and pelvis once standing for long periods of time becomes close to impossible!
At least I bought his CD, so I did my bit to support him.

We stopped at various places on the way back home to take photos, took lots of photos of Hailes Castle, flowers, sky, sheep, baby lambs.... you name it I blipped it!
Still, I seemed to have nothing... you just get days like that sometimes I guess...

After all that, I got home and started uploading my photos... I had to draw the blind because I couldn't see the screen because of the glare.... and there it was, right under my nose.... todays blip!
Soaking up the sun like a wee sponge.... she loves the heat... our we thermometer...Cookie!
