Celebrating "Gwyl Dewi Sant"/St David's

This was the display at the front of the hall of Newtown Evangelical Church, where about seventy ladies met to celebrate together. Delicious "cawl" (soup), welshcakes and bara brith were provided, as was a solo performance by a talented young lady and a talk about learning Welsh, competing in the National Eisteddfod, surviving cancer (twice) and being spiritually enriched through difficult experiences. The speaker told everyone how much her heavenly Father had helped her and it was a great joy for her to share such Good News with so many others.
