Inspired by idioms.

We went to The Gallery on the Corner in Edinburgh today. It 'represents and supports inclusive artwork...produced by artists who have a physical or mental health condition'. The artists are skillfully encouraged by two wonderful members of staff. Their dedication and enthusiasm is apparent not only in the magnificent displays of work in the gallery, but also in the workshop area below. The artists had been busy working on the theme of 'idioms' for an open day in April. What a brave subject to chose for a bunch of artists, many of whom are autistic - but how inspirational to do so!
